Lucy Hawkins MA(Oxon) PG Dip FHEA
Careers Consultant

In 2011, I joined the University of Oxford Careers Service as a Careers Adviser.
I’d previously worked in non-profit management and wanted to move to a job where I was helping people directly and practically.

In 2015 I moved to run the Careers Consultancy team at the University of Reading, combining my advice and guidance skillset with my programme management background.

In 2018, I gave birth to my son and my changing family situation led to a decision to adapt my professional life to fit.

Since becoming a freelance, I’ve supported both individuals and universities.

University clients include: University of Oxford, University of Reading, LSE, LSHTM, Brunel, University of London, Techne Doctoral Training Partnership, Central School of Speech and Drama and St George’s University of London.

As well as my professional practice I also run a community social enterprise – Oxford Sling Library.
